The Grande Report 2026

Hello, to all my readers, it appears I will be here for another year because this site auto renews without giving a heads up. I wasn't planning for another year since I have a reduced amount of time to spend producing the Digest. But I am excited to tackle another year of the NFL.

In the next few weeks I will be thinking about this years edition. The Trivia section may or may not make it into every issue this year. All the trivia is from my personal stash of knowledge and the ideas are running pretty low right now. The Memory Lane section will make another come back. Not only will we relive the 1977 NFL season but it will be an expanded section. I was originally thinking about making the Memory Lane a stand alone edition but not enough time in the day.

In the Review section, I am reviewing if my game synopsis are fine or need more details. I am not planning on changing the stats section which currently runs about eight pages. These sections take the most amount of time to produce so unless I am missing something extremely important these sections will be similar to past editions.

The Grande Pickem, which was the inspiration for the the Grande Digest, has yet to be populated. I am currently working on the spreadsheets that give you the all the breakdowns and charts of the picks made by the Pickem players. If I get the same players from last year, I will shake up the divisions and have the top four players from last year in the Premiere Division and the other four in the Prime Division. This will mean that there will be at least one new division winner at the end of the year.

Overall, the Grande Digest should look very similar to past issues. I would really like to put pictures and photos of the players and games but all that is copywritten and trademarked. My artistic talents aren't up to public display so the issues will be very text driven.

I will also be thinking about what to fill the Grande Report with for the next two months. Maybe I will touch on the UFL and the CFL. I am always open to hear any feed back about the site or the Digest pdf. Have a safe and wonderful summer!
