One down, 271 more to go

Everyone except Dennis picked the Seahawks last night.

Sam Darnold went down after five plays with a hip injury and Drew Lock went 6 for 8 and 51 yards, zero TD's or INT's in the first half. It looked like the Patriots would pull off an upset in Seattle after taking a 13-0 lead early in the second half. But then Drake Maye threw three interceptions. That was just enough for Drew Lock and the Seahawk defense to squeak out an opening night victory.

Sam Darnold's injury is huge if it is serious. On the first drive in the second half NE WR AJ Brown went out with an ankle injury. That may have played a part in Maye's interception spree.

Tonight, everyone picked the Rams. We will see if that is a good or bad thing.

LAR Aaron Donlad will not travel to Australia for tonight's game. SF Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Nick Bosa are all cleared to play tonight.
