A very entertaining game, big plays and exciting ending. Both teams had productive passing game, Edmonton QB Cody Fajardo threw for 510 yards and 4 TD's. Saskatchewan QB Trevor Harris threw for 386 yards, 4 TD's and 1 INT. But both teams had didn't do much on the ground, the Elks had only 43 yards and the Riders did a little better with 69 yards rushing.

The game was tied 7-7 after one quarter, the Riders took a 21-17 halftime lead, the Elks led 27-21 after three quarters. Saskatchewan had opportunities in the fourth quarter for the win but the Elks win the game with a field goal on the last play of the game.
