MTL QB Davis Alexander, 22-30-420-3-0. WR Tyson Philpot, 11 targets, 9-184-0. Ottawa QB Jake Maier 34-41-311-0-1.

The RedBlacks after the first quarter really weren't in the game and with the loss fall to 0-7 on the season. On the positive side they were in the red zone five times, on the negative side they only managed one touchdown. A factor in that failure was their running game, 13 attempts for 36 yards. But we can't put all the blame there because their atrocious defense gave up way too many big plays. This team going 0-18 probably won't happen but with this defense you can't take it off the table.

This was a classic case of a superior team dominating an inferior team. Montreal is now 7-1 on the season as Davis Alexander makes a case for MOP (Most Outstanding Player). Tyson Philpot broke a thousand yards on the season in only eight games. This team is looking unstoppable but there is a lot of season remaining.
