CFL Week 9 - BC 35 - WPG 19

Highlights of the GAME.

BC started QB Kaidon Salter at QB this week. His passing numbers were very pedestrian, 7-15-96-1-0 but he racked up 10 carries for 160 yards. BC RB Zander Horvath had 17 carries for 191 yards and 3 TD's. In total, BC 33 carries 377 yards and 3 TD's.

WPG QB Dru Brown 18-21-180-1-0. RB Brady Oliveira 19 carries 107 yds 0 TD's. The Bombers had difficulty in the red zone, 1 TD in 3 attempts.

The first half was very low scoring, WPG had a 6-0 lead until the last play of the half when Horvath plunged in from one yard out to take a 7-6 lead into the locker room.

In the third quarter the Blue Bombers got a FG and a TD and held the Lions to a FG for a 16-10 lead. About midway through the fourth quarter Dru Brown goes out with an injury and is replaced with Taylor Elgersma, 1-4-10-0-0. The Lions score 21 points in the final five minutes of the game.
