2026 CFL Week 5 (pt 2)

The BC Lions got their first win of the season and gave division rival Edmonton their first loss of the season, 36-24.

The final game of the week, HAM @ WPG saw both starting QB's go down with injuries and not return. As a result the offense suffered and the game was the lowest scoring of the year. WPG QB Collaros suffered an upper body injury early in the second quarter but was able to walk off under his own power. HAM QB Mitchell wasn't so lucky, he was down on the field for over fifteen minutes while his leg was being stabilized. His injury is a major blow to the hopes of a championship season in Hamilton.
