Monday Night Matchup Week 9

The Grande Pickem:

In the Premier Division we have a three way tie this week with everyone except Ethan.

In the Prime Division, Todd is ahead by one game over Denny and will come down to AZ@DAL on Monday, if there will be a tie or not.

So many close games on Sunday and the upset of the week CAR 16 GB 13. I haven't seen the Panthers play and I would hope that Bryce Young is finally developing and leading Carolina's surge but I tend to think it is Rico Dowdel's running propelling them to victory.

QB Joe Flacco is putting Cincinnati in a position to win games but defensive collapses put CIN in third place in the AFC North. If I were a Bengal fan I would want change in the organization.

Injuries again took its toll as QB's HOU CJ Stroud concussion and Jayden Daniels exited games. Daniels dislocated elbow could be a major blow to WAS. SF injuries continue with TE Tucker Kraft knee injury, DL Mykel Williams ACL. LAC T Joe Alt ankle.

Bob Trumpy, 3/6/1945 - 11/2/2025 (80 yrs old) passed away. A two time pro bowler and NFL All Star, TE for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1968-1977, He then went to NBC as color commentator and called four Super Bowls. He didn't have hall of fame numbers as a player but received the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award given by the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
