Memory Lane - Preview of the 1976 Kansas City Chiefs

In 1960, the American Football League's first year in existence, the Chiefs chose Hank Stram as their inaugural head coach. Fifteen years and a Super Bowl title later, he was fired after a disappointing 1974 season and replaced with Paul Wiggin. His rookie season started well and ended with four straight losses for a 5-9-0 record. Aging QB Len Dawson (SB IV MVP) only started five games and retired at the end of the season. The team is in a transition phase and uncertainty is in their future.
