A Brief Thought on NFL Coaches
There is a hierarchy of NFL coaches and everyone's list is different but definitely at the top are Sean McVay in LAR, the Harbaugh brothers in BAL and LAC and I would even put Matt LeFleur in GB, Mike Vrable in NE and Kyle Shanahan in SF among that group.
Who I have questionable thoughts about are Sean McDermott in BUF, 13 seconds, do I need to say more? Mike Tomlin in PIT, about ten years without a playoff victory, how is that even possible? In my opinion, he should be paying Bill Cowher 10% of his salary, as his playoff success has come from the teams that Cower coached. And without that success his contract would not be continually renewed. Dan Campbell in DET, I like what he brings to the Lions (mostly, but the 4th down attempts are a little concerning) but he is on the bubble, as playoff success defines a coaches greatness and he is still in pursuit of his success.
While this isn't a full list of coaches, almost everyone else has much work to do to reach the upper echelon.
